And a whole lot more distilled water content than sulfuric. Hard to get

You pretty much should do a titration, (journeytoforever.org of
course or go to groups.yahoo.com/group/biodiesel and search
for 'tailgate titration' which I think gives you simple instructions)
Then if your oil requires more lye than 3 ml or so, I'd suggest
trying a different sample of oil

Sulfuric acid is the right acid to use, because of cost. But not the only
acid that could be used. I was attempting to eat my foot. Sorry.

Hi Alan
I ran my Land rover 110 on a 50/50 blend with no engine mode for about
8,000 km with no problems. I've just bought a Mercedes (W123) 200D and it's
on the first tank of 50/50. I mixed a sample of 50/50 a while ago and let it
stand for 3 months. There was no visible separation, though
If I remember right, sulfuric acid, is many times used in chemistry to remove
the water produced during reactions of others chemicals.

At some point fuel versatility may become important enough that
multi-fuel stirlings will be viable.

Hello,
I've been reading information on plant based motor oils, and what I've found
looks very promising. Is anyone familiar with AMG 2000, or any other of these
oils? Are they available commercially at this time, or are they still in the
testing phase? Any info would be great!

Didn't the model A run on kerosene, alcohol and/or gasoline?

Keep it dark, cool, full tanks, sealed. Even then, things might get
away on you. Best to use WVO up as it comes in and not store it too
long. Cooler winter temperatures (or frozen) will help, of course,
compared to summer
