Hi! Can anyone describe the color of the glycerine-methanol layer after
treatment with phosphoric acid? According to JTF, it's sherry colored. Could
you elaborate more? Is that dark sherry or yellow sherry?
Thanks,
Chris

Keith Brian,
I have found a graphic which summarizes some of what you are saying. Try this

I am sending it to the home page because I know YAHOO strips off all

Hi Ed, here is some of the advice I got:
I suggest that you do some research on the car and also ask other

steered me
away from that particular model (when I was looking for a diesel
sedan) was
that the transmissions didn't

Well worth a read, the book clearly describes how, since the 1950s,
the US Government has run amock. I read it cover to cover with
biodiesel production in mind, and found Stossel's insights relevant
to our cause. Below is the book's description:

Are these people selling biodiesel legitimately, meaning, collecting
the proper taxes? Or is it under the table? Is their fuel being
tested to ASTM standards? My point is that if anybody can produce
good quality biodiesel, what's stopping every other person from
making it and selling it?
Allen,
This answer is a bit more elaborate in comparison to what you probably hoped
for.
I've taken the liberty to snip your contact info and cc both your question
and the response to a biodiesel related list for the perusal of others who
may be contemplating the pre-treatment of their wash
Being raised on a small family farm, I would have to defend the

based on any research. I will admit that I have heard of
some farmers that have full time jobs off the farm that abuse the
subsidy system. But, there are many

Stossel's a liar and a cheat, just another industry front-man, close
links with the usual suspects, no integrity.

The biodiesel being sold at the Biofuels Oasis is commercial biodiesel

Hi Derek and all
It's good to see this there. And here! Thankyou.
