Keith,
Thanks for your reply to my post. I think when all is said and done,
we basically agree on the essentials. I am a natural skeptic about
human nature, and although I _do_ see many encouraging signs, I am all

Hi Al,
A point of information, perhaps not relevant in areas close to
large cities. Rainwater is the major source of drinking water for more than
a million New Zealanders. Virtually all houses in rural areas are built with
roof gutters which channel the rainwater directly into tanks
You cannot run a gasoline engine on biodiesel. You probably can run it on
ethanol
or an ethanol/gasoline blend. Some folks have put small quantities of
biodiesel in
their gasoline tanks for the lubricity characteristics, but not as a main fuel.
If you want to run biodiesel, you will need
If you have a tow vehicle or can get one cheaply, turn your bus into trailer.I

Hi Richard
Darryl is correct. When I first joined the group I asked the same question. I
got a reply from a list member in Taiwan that perhaps did some experimentation.
He advised to use no more than a 15% mixed with your gasoline. I successfully
tried this out for myself with a 14.5 HP
Does anybody know if anti foaming agents used in cooking oils is harmful to
diesel engines. The WVO that I can obtain contains anti foam 900 whatever
that is. The oil is a blend of sunflower and canola. I can obtain a total of
about 300 litres per week from two sources. Another question does
There is a company in northwest Iowa that announced today that they
are going to start pricing their E85 at 25c less than regular gas.
I thought that was a step in the right direction. Of course, if
they can do it, why isn't everybody?

Dear John,
In the process to manufacture edible oils any anti foaming agent used get burnt
by and large in the process and only traces are left, which in no way can harm
the engine. It is a suggestion that while using WVO be careful and is suggested
to have a prefilter before you proceed with
The answer is No. gasoline engine works on a different principal and therefore
will have to be replaced with a diesel one! you can't mix and match

Dear Khurram,
As I know Pakistan is cultivating Rapeseed in large quantities. You can use
this oil effectively. Alternatively any oil not having mineral oil can also be
converted in B.Diesel effectively. Waste grease, Burnt Mob.Oil from service
stations will be a good idea as well!

There are various sites on net giving you the comparison you are looking for!

There is no valid reason that dino diesel would be more expensive than

Why are we working on burying CO2 when it takes more energy to bury it?
Would it not make more sense to grow oil bearing plants that will use the
CO2 and provide future oil resources? Would that head more in the direction
of a sustainable Eden than wasting energy burying CO2?

Hello Gustl,
What a happy, happy thought ! In fact, I was researching water from air
when you posted.
As for quaffing the stuff directly from the humidifier, you would be well
advised to apply the precautionary principle here :-} and desist from
attempting a potentially hazardous procedure
