Dear,
I uses 3L PP container as my reactor for an acid
esterification. I wander why it leaks at the buttom
after I leave it over night for seperation. Anyway, I
do the same thing with base transesterification, It
has no problem.
acid - H2SO4 95%
base - NaOH flake

The shake test that you said is used proportion
between water and BD 1:1 or 2:1, also, I plan to use
my BD with a 125hp 1996-yanmar diesel engine for water
pumping.

I already did both acid/base process and base process
from the animal fat in 2-litre batch type according to
instruction on JTF. The result was fine after setting
over night. (I boiled out water from the fat before
performing the processes.)
So, I would like to know why %FFA
I was washing my BD with hot water three times and
checking for pH. (it's neutral.) The BD looks
light
yellow clear and translucent. How can I sure that
the
BD does not harm my diesel engine? or any test
method
that I need to do more? Please...need help
