I received a message from that email address. The email contains an
attachment. Being the suspicious type, I expect it's an attempt to
infect me with a virus, since I have not yet unsubscribed from this
list. Anyone else seen such emails?

I've seen them used as ultralight engines, but IMHO there are better
tools for the job.
There probably are better tools, I'll have to keep looking
My question to the group is this: has anyone tried such a project?
The prices these people want for parts to do the
x-charset ISO-8859-1I've read that diesel engines can use biogas/methane and
producer gas
to run, but still needs 10% diesel fuel injected into the engine to
facilitate ignition. I'm not really up on IC engines, so I'm
wondering how one convinces a diesel to inject only 10% rather than
100% of
x-charset ISO-8859-1There was also another item I wanted to ask the group
about. In the
light aircraft arena, people have taken an air cooled 4 cylinder VW
bug engine and split it in half, creating an engine with 2 cylinders,
half the weight and horsepower (25-30 HP).
My question to the group
x-charset ISO-8859-1Really. You don't see something wrong with these
numbers? Assuming
you mean US dollars, since the USA is apparently the means by which
all evil is measured, $2.17 per person will provide healthcare AND
food? WHAT A DEAL? Where do I sign up?
13,000,000,000 dollars
x-charset ISO-8859-1Maybe I'm missing it, but I don't see a link to a picture
or drawing
for the stove. Can you post or repost the link of the referenced
picture, for the group to take a look at? Sounds like an interesting
project, but I like pictures to go along with the verbage :-).

x-charset ISO-8859-1Jeff, I think you need to do some more research.

The composition of natural gas is never constant. However, Methane
is by far the largest component, its presence accounting for about 95%
of the total volume. Other

planet.
Discovery likes to point out all the things that can kill us off.
Meteors, methane, Yellowstone National Park (seriously), the list goes
on. Methane Hydrates could be the next big fuel source.
By the way,

Possibly, but I doubt it. Where did you read that?
Not sure where I read it, prolly chased it down after following
various links off of journeytoforever.org or ww2.green-trust.org. The
article was something to do with US combatants capturing a Japanese
base on an island
x-charset ISO-8859-1I live in rural Iowa, and my local electric co-op has had
several wind

What it boils down to is this:
x-charset ISO-8859-1This is my first post to the Group, hello everyone.
I recall reading recently that Japanese aviation fuel in WWII was
alchohol, not gasoline. Recall that one of the reasons they went to
war was because the US cut them off (in their view, I'm not a
historian) from oil
