The 6th annual Ride for the Rescue raises money to provide free services to homeless and hungry people in the community. More than 500 people took part in five different rides throughout the day, hoping to meet the goal of $200,000. Organizers say it's a fun event that anyone can take part in. "People come out for the camaraderie, they arrive with their co-workers, they form teams and even people that don't ride are out here today because we have fun for the whole family, food, music, so it's a great way to come together to help those in need in our community,” said Paul LaDolce, Rescue Mission Communications Director.
