Effective March 11, Vancouver WA will be using B20 in all of its 
government equipment and vehicles.

Vancouver, WA biofuel comes from Lilyblad Pertroleum in Tacoma, is 
shipped as 100% biofuel to Albina Fuel in Portland and is then mixed 
to create B20 blend.

On March 20th, the Oregon Energy Office is sponsoring a day-long 
conference regarding biofuels for government agencies and fleet 
managers.

Mark Kendall of the OEO sees potential for tapping the large volumes 
of waste oil produced at Eastern Oregon food processing plants such 
as the Lamb-Weston potato plant in Hermiston.

Federal standards for ultra low sulfur dielsel are sheduled to go 
into effect 2007.

"The market isn't quite ready to make biodielsel economically sound,"
says Bill Briggs, president of Fuel Processors, Inc. in Portland.
