Hello, I was perusing the Energy Commission report (URL below) and it cites that a drawback of ethanol is that it cannot be transported by pipeline. That seems odd to me, after all it is a liquid just like petrol, no? What part of our liquid fuel pipeline infrastructure would need to be changed

First things first: Happy new Year for us all Brazilian National Oil Co. and Alcohol distillers do move ethanol through pipeline through out the country ( pls remember in continuous land Brazil is among the six biggies) in so called multiple pipeline ( crude, derivatives and ethanol).
