PET will work for methoxide. It is a more brittle plastic than HDPE so I
would not perpetually rely on the same bottle batch in and batch out.

Have mixed BD in PET bottles but not shure how they cope with
to prepare methoxide in such a manner, a swirling motion
is far safer than wild agitation of a supposedly sealed jug.
