1. How cheap are you guys finding new vegetable oil? (Or any
compatible oil)
2. Anybody able to get a hold of some prices? VERY LARGE VOLUME.
Example: Price per ?55 gallon barrel?
3. What type of additive can be used, or
It's easy to track Bush's progress on promoting homegrown renewables. not
only is there no progress, they are moving backwards.

My batch of BD settled the glycerine out nicely, though the BD still seemed a
bit cloudy. It was translucent, but not crystal clear... Is this suspended
water?
I now bubble-washed it (not for long... the first few minutes produced an
emulsion of BD+water which seemed murky

I thought that E85 was the most optimum mix to run in today's gas
I believe that low N nitro cellulose, is added to alk until it gells.

Hi everyone. I'm a senior in high school and just joined this club.
I'm trying to plan how to use fermentation to get ethanol that can be
used as fuel or as gasohol. I'm doing this for a science project,
but also just because I want to and it's good for the environment.
My only problem is
Try and find the book Makin' It On The Farm, it is a start. Check out the
local public library, I have yet to find one that did not have a few books
on the subject, if you have any problems at the library, tell the person at
the information desk about your project, and they should be able to get
