ADM Initiates Biodiesel Feasibility Study

DECATUR, Ill., April 2 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Archer Daniels 
Midland announced today that it is initiating a U.S. biodiesel 
feasibility study in conjunction with recent legislation passed in 
Minnesota to encourage biodiesel production. This study should be 
completed within six months and will determine the economic viability 
of processing soybean oil into a fuel that can be blended with 
petroleum derived diesel fuel to extend diesel supplies and improve 
fuel emissions. This study will be centered around the Mankato area 
where ADM has a soybean crushing and vegetable oil refining facility.
