He just missed the 1500 mark at Brussels, but El Guerrouj may well have set a World Record in the 1200 en route with his 2:46.10. In a quick scan of the fastest 1500s ever, the previous best I turned up was a 2:46.22 by El G at Zürich last year. There are two fast races for which I don't have
