At the risk that this post will be just one of many
about Webb's performance, here goes.
At the conclusion of the Prefontaine Mile today, after
watching Webb run alone the entire last lap, I was
literally left speechless.
That was, arguably, the most impressive American
mile/1500m performance in

If any of our 1500/Milers of the last 20 years had half his balls we
wouldn't have had the horrific performances to put up with. Alan believes
in himself, and has taken more crap than the whole lot of runners who have
run in his entire
C'mon Mike, why the need to criticize? Webb is the biggest talent in many
years, but let's not go wholesale criticizing everyone else. There's no
need.
