DGS,
I
didn't start any gossip thread, I responded to emails that were pretty much

added points, even the fish oil can be got naturally by eating Mackerel, herring
or other "oily" fish. Potassium can be got in abundance in your diet if you
choose the right foods. My experience is that if some thought is put into your
diet you can have all the

Hi,
Am I
missing something?? Youre suggesting that the age limit of world juniors be
changed to suit American athletes???
I agree
that it was a pity that more of the abundent brilliant US talent didnt compete,
but surely to change a system just to accommodate one nation seems totally
Not so in Ireland either,
Gaelic Football, Hurling, Soccer, Basketball in that order. Athletics comes
some way down the list.

Thing is everyone didn't need settling down . As far as I know noone was
unsettled except Capel.

Again I agree that he could have appealed... .I just don't see what the fuss
is about It was his own fault he messed up and the starter didn't help
him.
Also if he didn't transgress (move in the blocks) what would his appeal be.

Problem, Capel flinched, which does not constitute a false start.
Matt,
Walkers compete to an older age than other athletes because there is LESS
mechanical damage than in running. I know of one or two walkers who have had
knee problems later in life but speaking to an orthopaedic surgeon who dealt

I agreewalking IS like trying to whisper loudly
As [EMAIL PROTECTED] said

category..breaststroke or swimming backwards just isnt the quickest way to
get from A to B.

I don't understand the incredulity of folks about people living far from
schools. My primary school was 1 1/2 miles from me, many of my friends lived
3 to 4 miles from it. Most of us walked or biked there and back in the early
70's. I used to walk home for lunch and back again afterwards.
