Racewalking fans,

Adam Staier does it again. Yesterday (6/1) at the Maine High School State Track and
Field
Championships at the University of Maine track in Orono, Maine, Adam Staier, from
Farmington, ME, racewalked a 6:01.48 1600 meter (6:03.6-Mile conversion). This time
lowers
the unofficial National mark he set just one week ago of 6:04.59 at the Class A East
Regional Championships. Adam's quest to break 6:00 for the mile will now move to the
National Scholastic Track and Field Championships in Raleigh, NC on 14 June, 2002.
