I'd probably rank something like the following:

1) Gohr
2) Ottey
3) Ashford
4)Tyus (two golds and 3 WR)
5) Devers (3 golds Oly/WC) - Stecher (gold/silver and 8 WR's)

The women's 100m is tough to seperate Ashford-Ottey-Gohr-Devers group.

0Gohr has an Oly Silver an WC gold and a top ten average of 10.86. She also
set thr WR's . Plus her T&FN rankings were
77 - 1, 78 - 1, 79 - 1, 80 - 1, 81 - 2, 82 - 2, 83 - 1, 84 - 4,
85 - 1, 86 - 3 for a ten year average of 1.7

Ashford has Oly gold & silver but no WC medals. Ashford also averaged a 1.7
T&FN ranking from 1978 to 1988. (She had two 5's and two 6's from 89-92 as
well). She set two Wr 10.76 and 10.79. Her top ten average is 10.86.

Ottey has four # 1 rankings and five #2 T&FN rankings. Her top ten average
is 10.80. Her top twenty average is **10.83** She two Oly medals and four WC
medals (two silvers, two bronzes).

Devers is tough becuase of the 100H. Repeating at the olympics has to out
her up there. Plus she has a WC Win in 93. I'd still put her behind the
other four, however. I couldn't say Devers dominated, but... if you ask me
tomorrow I might change the order of the top five. I kinda think Ashford and
Ottey should flip spots some moments.
