She's been covering him since he was a tyke

Football in 2003: Caught 33 passes for 618 yards and nine touchdowns.

Basketball in 2003-04: Quit the team midway through season because of all the recruiting trips. At the time, he was team's leading scorer (18 ppg) and rebounder (9.9 rpg).

He's 6-3, 195, turned 18 last December. His favorite food is Hamburger Helper and his toe feels fine, thank you very much. Don't know what size shoes he covers the toe with, but they're not huge. I would guess about a 12-13 but that's a pure guess.

He and his family went to Baton Rouge over this weekend. Summer school starts June 7. He will run at the Great Southwest on June 5 and that's it.

I ask him if running the 20.49 (FAT) last week at the AAU Qualifier in Orlando (at First Academy) made him want to run. He said yeah, but it's time to get into the LSU summer football program and summer school. He said LSU told him he needed to put on some weight for football. I asked if that would affect his speed. He said:

"No, not if you do it right. You have to lift and run, not lift and eat."
