to feet and inches, with nothing more than a simple pocket calculator. No
spread sheet or computer program is necessary.

These conversion calculators fail in that they convert to decimal feet only,
which any third-grader can do.
It takes a little patience, but an EXCEL spreadsheet can easily be created
to convert meters in to feet/inches/fractions.
