needed for OSM editing.
The plan is to give out these sticks during our training/workshops and
it should work out-of-the-stick without going through installing
everything on each machines.

Cristian ha presentato a State of The Map le cose su cui sta lavorando
Sto cercando di eseguire il revert degli edits di AlfiusMSA, partendo dal
piu' recente ed andando a ritroso.
Purtroppo JOSM si inchioda e non mi fa proseguire... :-(

Ho modificato il file da scaricare, ora è una variabile e aggiunto un
file che per ora elimina e scarica osmconvert, in seguito dovrebbe

Il mio è più un discorso che dico i marciapiedi sono compresi nella strada
come lo sono le corsie. Se vuoi mappare corsie, ben venga, ma non come
singoli highway.
Potrei dire che il mappare tutte le corsie con una sola way lo si fa perchè
è possibile passare da una corsia all'altra

a riprova del perchè le mappiamo con un unica way secondo me è utile
valutare in che casi in cui noi non lo facciamo cioè dove si frappone tra
una corsia e l'altra un ostacolo fisico.

Altra cosa fantastica è che prende anche le informazioni meteo.
Quindi, se piove, appare l'animazione della pioggia.
Oltre a questo prende in considerazione anche la luce e la direzione dell'ombra.

Per completezza un follow-up: sto indagando e il problema non è (penso) nel
upgrade di ubuntu ma nel upgrade di mapnik a 2.2. Tutta la parte rilevante
viene fatta con i python bindings di mapnik (mapnik.save_map).
