I tried it but there seems to be an issue with the the shp projection (the
.prj file).
The Lambert72 PROJ4 string extracted from the prj is:
+proj=lcc +lat_1=49.839 +lat_2=51.172333 +lat_0=90
+lon_0=4.3674866 +x_0=15.01256

Looks like Qt has some kind of builtin supoort for tablets (or was it
Windows 7?) but it worked out-of-the-box (in tablet mode, not mouse
emulation).
That made me add a hand grabbing icon

Yes you can do it, though I don't have a good reason for doing such a
thing.

I just myself got the new Nokia 5800, which is S60v5. Nokia having bought
Trolltech (and thus Qt), there is now a preview verion of Qt for S60.
Merkaartor being built on top of Qt, a version for S60 (or at least a mapper
for S60 built upon the building blocks of Merkaartor) is more

I've been told that the yahoo license permits derivative works which also
is the reason why potlatch and josm are making use of this. Wouldn't a
server distrubuting slightly converted/scales/cropped images not also
provide just derivative
The Yahoo guys are happy with OSM using their imagery, but we just don't

about microsoft.
AFAIK, even if Yahoo! tolerates that OSM uses their satellite imagery, they
still insist we use their own AJAX API to do so.

Indeed, I think that the stat doesn't say much. In crowded areas like
Germany or UK, there will be a time where there won't be anything left to
map.
The real interesting
It's fairly standard usage, you see a doctor at the doctors, a butcher
runs the butchers. There should really be an apostrophe in there I
think, ie: the butcher's shop, the doctor's surgery. But that's not
really how people think of it. Just stick both on and point out
everyone else's bad
