When you try editing it, you can see the intersections of the GPS
lines match points along the ways. I suspect that the nodes are a
valid trace with bogus timestamps, so the points on the trace are
out-of-order, and it looks a mess when you join them.
Other explanations are of course possible!
That's propably the trace viewer sucking horribly. If you look at his other
traces, you can see that he has got other traces like that which are
apparently exported from a gis system.

Ein weiteres Problem beim Arbeiten mit Yahoo-Luftbildern (das andere
Problem ist, dass man nach einiger Zeit keine weiteren Anfragen mehr
starten kann, da grau unterlegt, bzw. manchmal auch nicht grau
unterlegt, aber es passiert beim Click auf Yahoo gar nichts mehr (kein
Firefox startet, etc.)
evtl. wäre es auch sinnvoll, eine Option anzubieten, alle auf dem
Yahoo-Layer (oder anderen WMS Layer) geladenen Bilder synchron zu
verschieben, da ich meist im gesamten Gebiet den gleichen Offset
habe.(vermutlich vorausgesetzt, das Gebiet ist nicht zu groß).

Geht eigentlich mit etrex Vista Hcx. Die Differenz zur tatsächlichen Höhe
ist bei einigermaßen gutem Empfang auch ohne weiteren Abgleich selten

When I zoom in, some of the rivers are labeled, others aren't. This
could just be a rendering issue. Do the names show up in the OSM file?
Or perhaps the original NHD data is simply missing names for those
features?
