*ABOUT THE EVENT:*

Data quality is fundamental for communities, governments, aid
organizations, and other end users benefiting from open mapping data. But
as the Wikipedia of maps, that anyone can contribute to, how do we ensure
that the data is accurate and clear before it gets to end-users in the
community, government, and aid and humanitarian aid agencies.

   - What aspects of data quality are most important to end data users?
   (Level of detail vs. precision vs. completeness vs. consistency.)
   - What are approaches to creating data quality, such as validation,
   tools like Maproulette, and the training of mappers?
   - How do we institutionalize data quality in workflows and culture?
