...yes, I do feel that this list ought to survive... I am still meeting people
for the first time, who tell me that we were arguing together on Tango-L
several years ago how can we revive the list ??? do we need to make it more
glamorous?? with a more attractive web appearance the
Tango-L was undeniably Very Important for years. I am one of the many
who appreciates today the friendships I made through Tango-L.
In a perfect world, would I like to see it find a new relevancy? Yes, of
course.
Is that possible? I personally don’t see why not – although apparently a

Keith,
Reflecting on things digital, after reading your message I immediately
looked for the 'like' button. Guess that sums it up.
Tango-L was great in its time, but I haven't read anything on it for years.

I suspect I am not the only one on the list who is not a big fan of Facebook,
but I do note that there are many people who rarely read email too. I responded
to the survey and voted to keep Tango-L alive. It's all about priorities.
...dubravkoP.S. Now, there is something to discuss, eh?
Is there a place on the web where people are discussing tango?
I don't know why people stopped posting on Tango-L. I miss Tango-L, but I
don't expect that people will change their (non-)posting patterns.

I appreciate Tango -L for the worldwide responses, as well as the
thoughtfull and experienced people here. Most are now teachers, and I think

about what makes tango click with people. I say keep it!

started off for me being a advertisingtool for the Tango Fantasy on Miami
beach. It was a fun way to meet many of theTango organizers that have become
great friends. It's also been a majoreducational tool for those
I'm amazed I didn't think of it before!
If Shahrukh brings us all together for a weekend of partying OOPS -

Shahrukh owns a restaurant in BA.
How interesting. Good to know. I too have used cooking and food as a way
to fill the gap left by a not-interesting tango scene that used to be
thrilling.
And the pitch for Shahrukh's come to my place, old-timers weekend just
got a LOT better!
During the first years of my tango life, Tango-L was the only source of
information and discussion that was available. It was a pleasure to hear
from fellow enthusiasts about their philosophy, insight, opinions and
experiences.
When Clay Nelson and I and our former partners introduced tango to
