Mario, I agree that appears to be a minimalist style; although he does
get a little more animated toward the end. First, lets me say
something nice about them- This is fine social dancing, esp for a
crowded floor, and the posture is superb. But, is this an interesting
performance? If

IMO it works. Sometimes less is more!
Their superb technique allows for this form of freedom
and playfulness...

What I really dislike about the milonga video is Melina's left arm position..
That looks really uncomfortable for Detlef. In the second dance on the
video her arm is back to a more-normal over the shoulder position.
