Version 4.0.28.3 is UR. The first thing I did was to test the Unread tab --- and found that the problem has indeed been fixed! The former behavior, in which the name of a folder changing from unread to read is un-bolded, but the folder stays put, has finally been restored. Thank you, Stefan.
