Hi,
I just want to disable this prompt, remove the password!
Any clues on how to do it?
Hi!
Try this:
1. Full backup
2. Uninstall
3. Reinstall without selecting OTFE.
Wow That would be my last resort. Time spent on re-installing would be
roughly equal one year of
typing this damn
Hi,
I'm a long time reader of this group but rarely write.
Mostly after upgrades. Problematic ones that's it :)
So here I am.
I've just upgraded to 4.1.11 from 4.0.14 (I know, I know...)
Now on The Bat! start I'm getting the prompt for account name and password.
I used to have one some time ago
Hi, Paul!
I believe that I may have the same issue. However in my case I've only
had it a few times since I upgraded to 3.95.6. I don't think that it
happened before this build. In my case two accounts seem to have the
problem intermittently. It is easy to resolve by deleting the tasks

The connection center will often hang. Mail will go out while it is
in this condition. I can easily Abort ALL then poll the accounts
individually and get the mail
Bug has been open since January of 2002. No resolution as of yet. Add a
note if you'd like.
I can't seem to find a way to save just selected attachments.
It may be a workaround, but it does work. You can do the save all, and
just cancel the save dialog window for each of the attachments you
don't want to save (such as the html message)
That, as well as saving them one by one works
Hi ,
I can't seem to find a way to save just selected attachments. The only options
I have are
Save all, Save all to and just Save (and then I'm prompted to save each
of the selected attachments).
In some prior versions the was an option called Save to which worked just
like Save all to but

Hi Maxim,

Hi Peter,
The same thing happens here on my notebook for the messages from news
groups that I receive with the help of MyGate. For The Bat! this is
also a POP connection to an internal server. The notebook runs Win2K
SP4 and On-The-Fly-Encryption is enabled. On my PC (WinXP, no OTFE) it
does
Hi Maxim,
Did this happen in 3.85? Could you please add this bug to the bugtracker and
we will fix it?

And no, it only appeared in 3.86.10.
The whole 3.86 series though had the problem with connections hanging if there

I'm getting the following with this beta:
!12/18/2006, 10:27:24: FETCH - Access violation at address 006F382E in module
'thebat.exe'. Read of address 000C
!12/18/2006, 10:28:24: FETCH - Could not connect to the server
This happens strictly with the POP accounts for internal Exchange server.
Hi Konstantin,
VS This was fixed in 3.86.05 and 3.86.06 but is back in 3.86.07.
Cannnot confirm neither with 3.86.08 nor with .08.
Tried new message and replay with both koi8 and 1251 encodings. Cookies are
in 1251. All's fine.
Check Control Panel - Regional and Language Options - Advanced
For some reason whenever I mark message as junk, it doesn't immediately
disappear from the message
list. Message counter does go down, but message is still shown in the list
until I select other folder
and go back to this one - only then the message list is refreshed and the
message
Hi Hendrik,
Follow-up: I've installed The Bat! fresh new, restored from the backup.
I've also added Regula plugin to work side-by-side with BayesIt. The issue
is still here and 100%
You should try to remove BayesIt from the list of Junk-Plugins.
I tried and it makes no difference
Hi Maxim,
If the other TBBETA subscribers will confirm that, could you please
add this to the bugtracker server www.ritlabs.com/bt , as well as the MAILTO:
and
SimpleMAPI bugs? Thank you in advance!
As I mentioned it was submitted yesterday under #6092.

The Bat! 3.86.05 ALPHA (beta)
I've just upgraded The Bat! from (much) earlier 3.XX version to 3.85.03.
Now I'm getting this strange problem with %Cookie macro in the template.
This problem is still there for me in the latest beta (3.86.04).
I have a text file with cookies, which is in CP1251 encoding.

Hi,
I found that 3.86 betas (alphas) have the /ATTACH command line parameter broken
for me.
Here is how it works (or rather doesn't work:
If I run something like this:
thebat.exe /MAILU=acct;To=someaddr;ATTACH=filename
it wouldn't create any email IF the filename file exists. Furthermore, it
Confirmed. Not only the ATTACH parameter does not work, but also the
parameter TEMPLATE. It seems that parameters cannot use external files in
their values.

Hi Roelof,
VS The problem was in the corrupted CONFIG.CDB file.
What's a config.cdb file? I don't have any of those in my mail
directory.
As I understand it contains (or contained?) folders view mode settings.
And yes, some time ago The Bat! crashed when I was trying to change the view,
so

Hi Maxim,
Could you please download 3.0.2.1 (Beta/1). It mainly fixes the bug in question

Confirmed, question marks over here as well (both with the PTV and the

Same problem here, too, but thank God not with the plaintext viewer.
At least I can switch to PTV if I want to copy something.
I always had problems with this screen as well as with SmartBat!

Hi guys,
I'm wondering what's the easiest way to copy the set of filtering
rules between accounts?
The latest betas introduce non-modal dialog for the Sorting Office.
But still you can only have one such window open for all accounts.
What I mean is that you can't have two sorting offices for
29 matches
