Yes it is much faster. I also like the new 'Edit Shortcuts' feature, but I am unfortunately still missing one thing that I had in another Email program (Virtual Access): One keystroke to mark the current message read and skip to the next keystroke. That would allow me to quickly scan through messages of a mailing list like this one for example.
