*** cross-posted to TBUDL We have created friendly, easy-to use resource for the beginners and the occasional visitors to familiarize with some specific topics related to The Bat!. This resource is presented as web-based forums at the www.ritlabs.com website:
English: http://www.ritlabs.com/en/forum/ German: http://www.ritlabs.com/de/forum/ Russian: http://www.ritlabs.com/ru/forum/ These forums aren’t intended for discussing bugs, drawbacks in the implementation, problems, etc. It is just a friendly resource to show the users what The Bat! can do. The main difference between these new forums and the already established ones (http://www.batboard.de/, http://www.nobat.ru/, TBUDL, etc.) is that there will be no bug reports at the forums at www.ritlabs.com. The moderators have an opportunity to move a message from the forum to the «technical support» database. So if a user will suddenly submit a bug report or a negative message, the moderator will either move it to the «technical support» database or will delete it from the forum if this message does not require support. This way we accomplish friendliness. There is no such strict moderation at the already established forums (http://www.batboard.de/, http://www.nobat.ru/, TBUDL, etc.) and the users can freely communicate there. Marck Pearlstone, Peter Palmreuther, Roelof Otten and Peter Meyns made a step forward and agreed to be the moderators of these forums. Marck Pearlstone did create the English descriptions for the forums, and Peter Palmreuther did create the German.
