RW Is there a quick way of moving to the original message and back please?
If the original message is still in the same folder then I just
alt-click on the subject to filter. It's a kind of simple thread
view.

I'd say it depends on where - in a mailing list folder you'll mostly
have threaded messages, anyway, but in your personal inbox its
difficult.

Hello Folks -
I've been happily running The Bat for a year now and I am trying to figure out a game
plan to move from a POP3 setup to an IMAP setup, including moving my 65000 emails and
lots of attachments up to my server under IMAP.
Any suggestions on migrating everything I have to IMAP

65000 messages? I'd definitely
using another client for the migration as well. TB! is
not good at moving a lot of messages from a POP to an IMAP account.
You'd have to export the TB! messages to unix format. Place the unix
exports into the mail directory for ThunderBird. When you open
ThunderBird, it will contain folders
Hello Edgar,
Will this change? I thought it was a nice thing that you could
move a folder and the program could still find it.
This is due to a bug discovered after 3.0 was released. It was already
fixed in one of the post-release betas.

Hello All,
I use a filter to move a read message to a folder.
In version 2 I could move this folder with shift-ctrl up and
down to other folders and the filter still worked (the was
dynamic). This does not work in version 3 any more the reference
to the folder is permanent.

As a courtesy to all of you who have helped me over the years, a
short note of thanks to say that I'm taking a break from TB! for
a variety of reasons.
The recent beta/new version/licensing bruhaha sort of turned me
off, but more important to me, I wrote two polite requests for
information from

anything else than that you'll be missed.

Hello All,
I am a long-time Bat follower (probably 3 or 4 years), but have only
recently taken the plunge and registered the program because of the
advances made with IMAP support -- I use IMAP exclusively because I need
to be able to read my mail from several different PCs/Unix systems, etc.

Hi,
How do I move the my virtual folders all in one area under the *ALL*
view in the account tree? I would like to have them all at the bottom

Thanks

Hello Michael,
I have set up several filters in one account. I'd like to move some of
