 Done.

P.S. The MIT homepage now uses TT2 to regenerate 300+ pages of static
  HTML per day. Whee!

 Cool!

Fwiw, I've just completed a redesign of the OSDL website - 324 pages of
content being regenerated on demand by TT2.

Does anyone know of any blogging software out there that uses TT2 as
its templating language?

I've been informed that Moveable Type does, but I haven't looked to
see for myself.

I don't have any real experience with MT, but looking through the
untar'ed sources it looks like HTML::Template is the system of
choice. I'll poke around the source and see if I can see how hard
it would be to use TT2 instead.

Thanks for the lead.

Nope, MT isn't TT. It does have a plugin for working with TT in some capacity and a
number of people use MT to emit TT pages tho.

Thanks, Mark. Do you happen to have a link to that plugin? I
dind't see anything called TT2 or TT or otherwise obviously named on
http://www.mt-plugins.org/ .

Thanks,

Yeah: http://www.estey.com/mt/index.cgi?TemplateToolkit

One of my friends wanted it at one time and I got all excited
because I thought it was a blend of TT and MT. :)

Oh well.

FWIW, I've been using the 'news' package in OpenInteract to create
my blog (http://www.cwinters.com/). OpenInteract uses TT as its view
engine. The package is probably missing most features people look
for in a blog, but it works for me :-)

There's Bryar: http://search.cpan.org/author/SIMON/Bryar/

And I rolled my own; the code is deeply messy, but what you write is
pod (not so sure if that's a feature some days):
