MusixTeX-1.17 is now available in TeXLive-2015 and as update in MiKTeX (as well as CTAN and WIMA).
An updated autosp package at CTAN and WIMA incorporates some minor improvements and corrections, and now includes a simple utility (rebar) that reads a MusiXTeX source from standard input and generates a copy to standard output with correct bar-number comments of the form %barno appended to \bar, \alaligne, etc. It has no real relation to autosp. I wrote rebar after having to tediously re-number manually every bar of a long score of a work after I discovered that the editor of the edition I had been using had "improved" on the composer's choice of 12/8 for a pastorale movement by using a time signature of 6/8.
