Subject: Ghost story from england
Hi there ive been lurking for a while now, about 6 months to be
precise, and i love the stories that get posted.
Well i think its about time i told you about my friends house that he
bought about a year ago.
My friend lives in the same city as me called Hull, which is situated
in East Yorkshire in North-East England. His name is Kris and he is 20, he
bought his first house, a 70-year old, 3-bedroomed semi detached a year
ago and ever since he moved in some weird things have been happening.
The first hint of anything weird happening was the constant switching
on of the light at the top of the stairs, which slowly spread to the light
at the bottom of the stairs switching on, i have witnessed this happening
myself and so has another friend. This then went on to the gas fire
switching on and things dissapearing and turning up in places that had
been checked-over about 5 times!, then one night Kris was drinking a glass
of beer, he put it down next to him, which i witnessed, only for it to
dissapear and re-appear at the opposite side of the room!
About 3 months ago he bought a dog to keep him company, and things have
become much worse ever since, the dog barks at points on the walls which
it follows with its eyes, in front of me and kris!...only last week (23rd
Feb) my friend was in the bath, and i was in the dining room near his
down-stairs bath, and Kris shouted out 'where the hell has my towel gone',
he said it was right in front of him about 10 seconds ago, then the dog
ran into the dining room and started barking and running backwards and
forwards to a spot behind me, i turned round and there was the towel!!
ontop of the Music system!
The worst thing to have happened, occured over 3 nights last week, at
the moment in England it is very cold, so he has been sleeping with a big
blanket over the top of his bed. Well on the first night something
happened, he woke up to find the big heavy blanket had been rolled up and
placed across his neck!...he didnt think much of it, and thought he must
have done it in his sleep, but it was rolled up so tight like a rope. The
next night he went to sleep with the blanket over him, and woke up with
the blanket rolled up and this time it went across his neck and then back
round underneath him, as if it was trying to strangle him, and the chair
in the corner of his room had been moved and placed against the door as if
to try and stop somebody coming in! The third night was the worst, Kris
persuaded his girlfriend to sleep the night, she usually refuses because
she says she keeps seeing things, but she wont tell any of us what it is
because she said she doesnt believe in anything weird like ghosts, well
that night they both got drunk so he persuaded her to sleep the night. At
about 3 am his girlfriend woke kris up by hitting him in the face!, Krsi
shouted 'what the hell are you doing' and his girlfriend replied 'Youve
just tried to strangle me!', and she was screaming at him..Kris looked at
her neck and sure enough there was the big blanket rolled up and wrapped
around her neck about 3 times! and pulled tight. They have now split up
and its been about 3 days since they saw each other, his girlfriend has
told her parents about what she thinks Kris tried to do to her, and no
matter what he says she will not see him again.
Only last night (28th Feb), Kris said his dog was sat on his bed and
suddenly stared into the corner of the room, pissed all over the bed and
ran out of the room, it took Kris 30 minutes to get his dog back into the
room.
I dont know what all this means or why it is happening, but i will keep
you posted if anything more happens, which no doubt it will as something
happens every night.
Sorry if these very true happenings were long and boring, but i thought
its about time i posted something on here! cheers for reading, and i will
