Hello,
I have a Tele Quarz Group TQOC26-01 oscillator (picture attached) and would
like to use it
Unfortunately I could not find any information on it, looks like Tele Quarz
Group doesn't exist anymore.
Does anyone happen to have some information on this part : application note /
datasheet /
Hi there,
just to prevent from making mistakes ...
You can have two different accessories for GNSS antennas:
1) a ground plane
it prevents the antenna from receiving signals from beneath the
antenna (from the ground, roof or whatever is beneath)
... so this could be your pie
Hi,
for nonmilitary GNSS receiver, you do not need a wide band signal for jamming.
You only need a carrier with a signal power, sufficient to screw down the
AGC in the GNSS receiver's front end.
... and as a purpose for a military jamming exercise ... think of the
successfull detection of a
Hi there,
something about the power supply. If it's an older Leica choke ring antenna,
it uses an AeroAntenna antenna element. Perhaps there is still a label on
the lower side of the choke ring.
L1L2 antennas had the part number AT2775-..., L1 had been AT575-...
The power supply is coded there.
Hi Mark,
no need to use your Z12 ... supply the antenna with +5V-DC and put an amplifier
between antenna and a spectrum analyzer. You will see the noise of the L1
and (hopefully ;-) ) L2 amplifier in the antenna.
Btw. L1 chokering ants are not unusual ... except in surveying. A L1 surveying
Mike,
the choke rings are simply made of concentrical rings with a quarter wave depth.
They are widely used to suppress the sidelobes of an antenna and to get
a symmetrical antenna pattern. The choke rings produce an area of high impedance
around your antenna. You can find choke rings e.g. on

Hi Dave,
i couldn't find the product number in my old price lists. If the boards had
been used in a base station installation, the number should be 220-600944-1xx.
Are there other numbers on the board or can you get the

Hi Bjoern,
i have to check this with NovAtel, whether the old price lists can be published
or not.
I will inform you about the results.
... a GPSDO project with old CMC receivers ? i must have overlooked this ...

Hi Magnus,
yes, the internet shoeem's to suffer from Altzheimer's desease ;-)
I could send you datasheets of RFIC1501,RFIC1502 and SCS38140. The file size
as ZIP-file would be about 680kByte.
@admin: can i post it ?

Hi Dave,
it look's like an Astech G8 board. This board used the Philips SAA1575 GPS
chip set. Designed for low-cost navigation solutions.

oh yes .
1) Waterlevel in GPS antenna's hermetic too high ... the ice inside the
hermetic was melting down ( Hi Magnus ;-) )
2) Coaxial cable damaged, due to nice little pecking birds :-(
