Those of you who spend a lot of time and effort trying to figure out clever
ways to ensure that students are not surfing the web, etc. during your
lectures: Forget about it. You might as well insist that they all take their
shoes off before coming into class.
Colleagues: I am searching for a good article on the advantages of
interdisciplinary learning and one on critical thinking that I could assign
to a course on Introduction to Graduate School. Any suggestions?
