You didn't read the web page. That's cool, I guess, if you don't want to learn
about it and stuff.
If you'd read it you would have learned that laypersons/family are allowed to
speak at a Catholic funeral that is being 'run by the book' but not to laude
the deceased, etc. That is, not allowed
