I had a very, very mild case of TM but it persisted. Stupidly I did not go
to the doctor immediately but waited for weeks and weeks. I was asked the
same questions...vaccines, bug bites...this was before I was actually
diagnosed with TM. I was also rather surprised that my neurologist actually
Awww. Lori, I can feel your excitement and am so happy for you and your
family. Congratulations! Babies are such a blessing. :-)

Thank you everyone for your replies. I recently got to thinking about that
banding feeling that I had experienced early on (for me it was completely
around the bra line and felt as if I had a belt on way too tight there)
and wondered if there was a
Those of you who got that banding feeling do you all just have TM or did you
also get subsequently diagnosed with MS too? And if you did experience the
banding feeling, did you experience it at the beginning of your TM (or MS)
journey or somewhere down the road? :-)
Just wondering if TM'ers get
Since TM I have become a photographer, a lifelong passion of mine. I have my
own business doing custom portraiture specializing in newborns and
teenagers. I cannot work full time because I just get too exhausted when I
have a couple of full days in a row. This works nicely for me as I can plan

Ever since TM hit I have had episodes of twitching. I have had them effect
my tongue, my butt cheek, face, arm, just about anywhere. It will seem to
choose a spot and stay there a bit. Then months and sometimes months will go
by without any significant twitching. I have no idea what triggers it.
I wish they would just take her over to University of Michigan Hospital in
Ann Arbor. It is about an hour and a half from McLaren's and is an excellent
hospital. Cutting edge technology and the top notch doctors. I wouldn't be
wasting my time at McLaren's in Flint. Gosh. So frustrating. Poor, poor
Patti, I just sent a note to the list saying the same thing about U of M in
Ann Arbor. Much, much better hospital. I think not even an hour and a half
from the Flint hospital. I used to live in Fenton (near Flint) and was never
impressed with McLaren's hospital. We always drove the extra to use U
Hmmm. I am thinking that maybe it would be emails that try to teach religion
or are meant to persuade others to your religious opinion. Just briefly
asking for prayers (without getting too detailed about your beliefs) doesn't
seem to be offensive to the majority here.

Saroj, dear Saroj,
I have thought of you so often and wondered how you were doing. I worried
many times fearing the worst. I hope you continue to press on to sunny
times. So good to see you back!!!

My TM came on the heels of a bad bout of bronchitis, a miscarriage, and a
root canal on one of my molar teeth. Who knows if any of that had anything
to do with it. One thing is certain: it was not one of my better years. ;-)
