I have installed Tomcat 3.1 on Windows 98SE. I am able to run Servlets but
it's with JSP that is my problem.
I wrote an html form that take an int as input from the user and it's gonna

Don't use the include.
Add these in the end of httpd.conf
LoadModule jk_module lib/modules/mod_jk.so
AddModule mod_jk.c
IfModule mod_jk.c
JkWorkersFile /disk1/tomcat/conf/jk/workers.properties
JkLogFile /disk1/tomcat/logs/mod_jk.log
JkLogLevel error
JkMount /*.jsp ajp13
Yes it is possible. In your jsp, you can have a form with an action that
call the servlet to create the cookie/validate the user id and password.
I personally don't like to save the password in the cookie as I don't feel
that the right thing to do.

Hi there, my server.xml has the following directive:
ApacheConfig noRoot=true/
Yet, my TOMCAT_HOME/conf/auto directory remains empty.
I'm running Apache 1.3.19 and Tomcat 3.3-b2 on Red Hat Linux 7.1
Any suggestions? This always kinda just worked under Win32.
Craig.
Do you happen to know what directory Turbine tries to load
TurbineResources.properties from if you specify . as the path in new
TurbineConfig?
Thanks,
James

Hi there, my server.xml has the following directive:
ApacheConfig noRoot=true/
I found this in my jvm.stderr log anyone know what might be causing it?
Using Tomcat 3.3rc1
Apache 1.3.6 and mod_jk
I'm also having an issue with virtual hosts both hosts seem to be going to
the same DocRoot
pasted the contents of mod_jk.conf if you need anything else let me know.
Thanks
