by inaccurate docs and phantom directories I finally discovered
that the 4.0.2 connecters tarball is required. However - it won't
compile on RH7.1.
Has anyone got my required combination running? If so, how?
All pointers gratefully received.

As an addendum - it's not just RH7.1 (or gcc2.96) I get the same on a
debian box.
Is there a working version of mod_jk for Apache 2.0.39 amd Tomcat 3.3.1
out there?

This seems unnecessarily difficult. I have a system running

Thanks.

Neil,
I posted a message yesterday with similar problems installing 3.2.1 and
Apache 2.0b7 on RH 7.0. Your doc describes the steps I took (based on the
User Guide and the mod_jk docs) but it still won't work.
The build of mod_jk.so fails as predicted and the gcc runs seems to
finish it
