Has anyone experienced a problem creating gifs with the ACME gif
encoder whereby the colors aren't right. The red component gets
zeroed, the green component is what the red should have been and the
blue is what the green should have been.
Any help appeciated.

I'd still like to know if I can configure mod_jk to ALWAYS send
users to the local Tomcat unless thats down, in which case send them
elsewhere. Currently it seems to favour its local Tomcat but not 100%,
still works though !

I'm just putting together a prototype on the Internet using Tomcat,
we've got two Linux boxes and load is spread over the two hosts using
a BigIP load-balancer. The mod_jk config is ok when you understand
whats going on, local and remote Tomcat instances aren't specially
when I do
that - why ? Is there a maximum lbfactor that I've exceeded.
Is there a nicer way to do this ?

There is a problem with Tomcat's NT service and JDK 1.3.
It has to do with JDK 1.3's handling of CTRL_LOGOFF_EVENT from Windows
NT when users log off..
The NT Service wrapper needs to start up TOMCAT v

- I presume this is a feature of IE 5.0 not
properly setting the locale when a new window opens ???
By the way - anyone know how you change the locale IE sends in the
request ? Being Microsoft I guess it comes from the OS (NT 4)??
