Release Summary
=============

Tuscany SCA Native provides a runtime implementation for the Service
Component Architecture Assembly Model specification version 0.96
and the Service Component Architecture Client and Implementation for
C++ specification version 0.95. The Tuscany SCA Native M3 Release
includes support for component implementations written in C++, Python
and Ruby languages.
It also includes support for interface bindings using webservices
(using Axis2C) and REST.

Tuscany SDO C++ is an implementation of the Service Data Objects 2.01
specification for C++ developers. The M3 release includes performance
improvements (30-40%) along with improvements to robustness.

Both SCA and SCA releases now support the Mac OS X operating system.

Oriented Architecture (OSOA) collaboration website:

Incubation
========
Tuscany is an effort undergoing incubation at the Apache Software
Foundation (ASF), sponsored by the Web Services PMC.

Incubation is required of all newly accepted projects until a further
review indicates that the infrastructure, communications, and decision
making process have stabilized in a manner consistent with other
successful ASF projects.

While incubation status is not necessarily a reflection of the
completeness or stability of the code, it does indicate that the
project has yet to be fully endorsed by the ASF.
