You can use Crossover too. In ubuntu just go to the software center. In the
search box on top of that Software Center window you will find wine,
playonlinux and crossover by typing them. Then just click and install them.

KMplayer is just Mplayer for KDE! So nobody really needs that as yet.

Nope, KMPlayer was Korean Media Player a available for Windows platform only.
It was the first player which could play MKV formats (non-English version btw),
thus became famous. Now since VLC player can play almost all formats on all
platform, there's really no reason to use KMPlayer now.

I still need a player like KMP in ubuntu. there are so many reasons for
disliking VLC. like i have said before, it is not about playing all kind of
files.
KMP has got some features that VLC lacks. And ofcourse media players are
always depend on personal preference.

GOM player is provides almost the fuctionality as KMP . Does anybody know

আমি কিছু দিন আগে একটা সিটিসেলের জুম আল্ট্রা মডেম কিনি। (ZTE AC2726) লিনাক্স
মিন্ট-৭ এ মোডেমটা কোন ভাবেই ডিটেক্ট করাতে পারছি না। এর আগে সিটিসেল
এ্যালকাটেল সেটটা মোডেম মোডেম হিসাবে ব্যবহার করতাম। ওটায় কোন সমস্যা হতো না।
যদি এর কোন ব্যবস্থা থাকে জানালে কৃতজ্ঞ থাকবো।
