when the root folder pops up browse to the folder and delete it.
and if that does not work.. try super root access...
in terminal run sperately
*sudo su
nautilus*
then browse to the folder you want to delete.
Can you try deleting that directory from shell? cd to the upper level and try:
sudo rm -rf NFS\ Underground/
Let me know what happens.

I'm sorry it didn't work out.
Hardy comes with ntfs-3g by default and as my friend tells me,
read/write is no longer a problem. Try it and let us know your
experience. :)
