Re: [ Ubuntu-BD ] Ubuntu 6.06.2 LTS released

2008-01-22 Thread Nasimul Haque
If you are in sync with all the system updates so far, I don't think
you need to update your system with this CD. This CD only integrates
all the updates made after the first release so that for a new
installation you do not need to download lots of security updates. For
currently running system who are in sync with all the security
updates, there is no need to use this CD.

Can you give me guideline, how can I update. I don't want to loose any

 About Ubuntu 6.06.2 LTS
 ---

This is the second maintenance release of Ubuntu 6.06 LTS, which
continues to be supported with maintenance updates and security fixes
until June 2009 on desktops and June 2011 on servers. This

security updates and corrections for other high-impact bugs, with a
focus on maintaining stability and compatibility with Ubuntu 6.06 LTS.

See http://www.ubuntu.com/usn for a list of Ubuntu security updates.
As of 2008-01-10, all updates affecting packages on the CD have been
 applied.

A summary of notable updates follows. See
