A bit more info:
Commenting out the svn_wc_swig_init_asp_dot_net_hack() call at the end
of libsvn/wc.py does not solve the problem. I get a segfault later on,
which indicates that the cause of the segfault is likely to be something
before the call.

Got it to work, finally!
After searching the forums a little more I could install the drivers using
configure/make/make install, then adapted the .sh-file and then I connected not
using CUPS, but HPdirect. Works like a charm.

Epson CX11FN and C1100 doesn't print on edgy
I have same problem, using feisty fawn with all upgrades, default GDM,
default KDE, and no shutdown restart etc buttons only logout.
This was issuse on dapper too, but on edgy it was ok - it had all
buttons no matter which DM was default, should be on feisty too.

Reproduce means wait for another hang and then use strace to investigate
what the process is doing that hangs. This will help me a lot with
understanding what the actual problem is.

I finally got the feisty Herd 5 alternate install CD, made certain that
it was burned correctly and have the exact same result cropr has with
his Volari CP5.

After upgrading from Edgy, I recognized that in category development
gtranlator no longer is listed, though still installed. The reason is
the underscore before Name and Comment in the .desktop file:

When hibernating Ubuntu while some FAT partition is mounted it seems to be
possible to boot the machine into some other 'OS' :) which can write to the
same partition. (dual boot) This will lead to severe data loss on that
partition.

just to add, i've installed ndiswrapper-utils-1.9 and it is working!
kernel is 2.6.20-9-generic, now i have wlan0 interface which works
only bug is when i want to use ad-hoc mode, my connection last for
about few minutes or sometimes even less that that... tested it few
times, it repeats.
