I am running a dual-boot system and attempted to resize the Ubuntu
partition. Windows partition /dev/hda1 ntfs was 116.21 GiB; Ubuntu was
/dev/hda2 ext3 of (approx) 115.24GiB. In addition there was an extended
/dev/hda3 of 1.44 GiB containing a
'exit 0' simply causes a script to exit. So effectively, that change
causes powernowd to exit without doing anything.
I gather this indicates the bug has something to do with power
management and cpu frequency scaling.

meaning that nautilusthumbnailer is doing what they are designed to do.

When I search for an e-mail in my sent items Thunderbird freezes. I have
tried running this in safe mode and it still happens. Searching for

I'm currently upgrading from Edgy to Feisty and my machine has been
sitting on the following step of the dist-upgrade:
Setting up a bunch of packages ..
...
Setting up ubuntu-sounds (0.6) ...
Setting up wvdial (1.56-1.1ubuntu2) ...
It's been sitting there at this step for about 45 minutes.

Your card isn't supported by nvidia-glx-new. However when removed
nvidia-glx-new leaves a residual configuration file that can cause problems if
you go on to install the other nvidia drivers. You will have to purge uninstall
(apt-get --purge remove nvidia-glx-new ) before installing
OK... I broke out of the process of wvdial setting up and got the
following message:
dpkg: error processing wvdial (--configure):
subprocess post-installation script killed by signal (Interrupt)
It then continued to setting up xfonts-base and other packages...
