I have tested eclipse with WST and all validators

From force of habit I used Firefox again and it crashed leaving grub

That Ubuntu's grub reinstall isn't simple meant I just had to completely

Would anyone care to be an angel and walk me through the workaround for

For the record, I did go ahead and change my settings, just now, to

I did try to export one image in png to see if the quality were not be affected
with the refined filters preferences, inkscape did crash...

PROBLEM:
On my system, X is unable to load the NVIDIA binary driver after the kernel
update. Not the famous kernel module and X driver version mismatch, the X log
just says it encountered an error loading the NVIDIA driver module. The package

On gutsy cryptsetup luksOpen literally takes minutes to complete.
Strace reveals that this is due to cryptsetup waiting for a temporary
device. After a timeout (of several minutes!) a message pops up that
cryptsetup failed to rendezvous with udev and the operation completes

Sorry, all is clear, it depended of the desktop configuration, which showed the
process twice in the same taskbar instead of duplicate it in the quick launch
upper taskbar.
Corrections have been done OK

yes, seems its a duplicate.
As mentioned in bug #91265, this seems to be a permission problem.
I've been able to access the camera using both workarounds:
reopening gthumb as root:
$ sudo gnome-volume-manager-gthumb %h
or (my preferred, since I don't need to change the imported files

Maybe the Problem is then, that I uninstalled sound-juicer, because I don't
like it. I realized that Problem under all versions of Ubuntu so far, also at
the currently last one (Feisty). I assigned CDs to gnome-cd, which opens them
when inserting. But I did not find a possibility
