latest kernel(2.6.20-16.28) update gives boot problems
I've no reason to think it is.. I've only seen it with Firefox recently past
few weeks. It's been a very stable system for the two years I've had it.
I think it's something specific to the coding on the pages I go to that trips
it. I've visited other sites and had no problems.

then simply press enter to continue boot.

button in electric activity. Could you describe *exactly* (step by step)
how to reproduce the crash in electric activity ? Also write which

If a configuration file says that it shouldn't start it's not an error. It's
behaviour by design.
I can see, though, that the reason it doesn't start should perhaps be more
obvious.

By doing
sudo laptop_mode start
I can at least reduce the clicking frequency from previously 5 seconds,
which was extremely annoying, to now may be once per minute or even

I just got a crash with the abort signal.
I told Adept to update while it was already installing packages. It
displayed a message saying that an error occurred (no details about

Gcompris administration tool works fine for me in Ubuntu 7.04 Feisty
(except a usability problems, for example I didn't found the way how to
show a login prompt as default). Are there any users, who has problems
with gcompris administration tool in Ubuntu 6.10 Edgy or 7.04 Feisty

I think your bug is a duplicate of bug #49840. Which Gcompris and Ubuntu
version do you use ?
Gcompris administration tool works fine for me in Ubuntu 7.04 Feisty (except

I have commented it out in /etc/fstab... i don't know if this a correct
procedure or not.
