I can confirm this bug, that also appears on Edgy: the sound coming
from my microphone is so low that I have to speak very close to it if I
want to have something audible. All volumes are at 100% level. I don't
have this problem on MS Windows XP, the sound level of the microphone is
normal.

I will add to this one that I tested this several times and it
consistently crashes.
When I ask to hibernate and get a black screen with a blinking cursor,
after a while of nothing happening I cant shift between text-mode
terminals, but can't login : getty is probably already dead. Can't do

After upgrading from feisty to gutsy I noticed that ksoftirqd on CPU 0
is always using about 30% of of that CPU even when the system is
otherwise idle. I have upgraded the 2.6.22 kernel about 3 times over the
past 2 weeks
It's the same for me with the latest updates. I am attaching two new
screenshots. First one is when I open the URL directly, and the second
one when I get to in steps. Only the first page I visit is then secured
with SSL.
