This is maybe another bug but I won't file a new bug before I can
collect some details: I have had xchat-gnome exploding in RAM usage some
times. Unfortunately it goes so fast it's difficult to track down,
within a few seconds it was 640MB and I killed it, another time it made
the computer lock

ufw tries to be very careful about its files so that if there are
anomalies in the files or paths, the administrator will be notified
instead of executing potentially unprotected code.

I can reproduce this bug using the OOs 2.3.0 packages provided by
Ubuntu, but I *cannot* reproduce it with the latest OOo 2.3.1 packages
downloaded from www.openoffice.org.
So either this bug *is* Ubuntu-specific, or it's been fixed in 2.3.1.
Another workaround, then, is to install the latest OOo

Compiling it without b43legacy and rebooting now works fine... the only
