same thing happened to me when switching sessions to the KDE enviroment on
gutsy.
i guess this wasn't fixed on gutsy.
everything on the desktop is there but i can't see it, i tried to relog using
other sessions but the panels never load, only in the KDE session, in which my
wifi won't work !

I have discovered that it is not my GFX card, but my monitor. I have

corner cases the LEDs are switched down.
